I have 7 years dinner theatre experience as creative director and playing various ad-lib comedy characters for comedy themed shows and murder mysteries, the most well known being Sybil Faulty. Also co-wrote and directed Medieval Knights dinner theatre show.
I have done theatre, radio and tv presenting aswell as film and tv extra work.
Most notably was playing Nerissa in Terence Cooper's production of the Merchant of Venice for Auckland Fiesta 1986.
I presented a local dance school show every year( for 5 years ) as various strange MC characters and am never happier than when I have a microphone in my hand.
Whilst living in Spain, I worked with a fakir in a comedy high risk cabaret which included sword fighting, escapology and breaking concrete with a sledgehammer on a nightly basis.
Performing is my passion but I'm also competent out of the spotlight and have done story-lining, directing, publicity , script editing, writing and production management. I have worked in casting (another passion) and find this is also an area that I love.
For the summer of 2016, I was a dinosaur ranger with Dinofest, performing at the Auckland Botanic Gardens, Easter and Anzac weekend 2017 at the Wellington Botanic gardens,2018 we were in Hamilton for Easter and Napier for New Year and started 2019 up in Whangarei with Palmerston North at Easter. We had 2 weeks in Christchurch in January 2020. This involves presenting an interactive show for children of all ages with animatronic dinosaurs . It is very educational and huge fun.
At the end of 2019, I took up the role of Madame Edith in 'Allo 'Allo for a Christmas Dinner Theatre season which I hope to reprise next year.
2019 also saw me perform in 3 student films by the students of S.A.E. in Auckland.
