Voice Actors Needed - Geelong
In a collaboration with Greater Geelong Creative Inc., Someone New is working on a new community radio play: "Between Sleeps" a sci-fi suspense taking place on a generational spacecraft on it way to form a new colony.
We're looking for talented and unique voices (male or female) to join the cast and bring this project to life. Experience unnecessary, enthusiasm is more important. Great for gaining experience, show-reel building, and starting out in the Geelong scene - if you are interested in voice-over work, this is a great place to start!
WHEN: Weekly, days variable dependent on individual schedules.
WHAT: The project will record at "Don't Poke The Bear" Studios on 21st September 2019. This recording will be with scripts, but rehearsed for ease of recording. The play runs for over an hour. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THIS DATE!
REQUIREMENTS: None, except enthusiasm and some preliminary recording equipment (phone or computer) to send through audition clips.
After applying on StarNow, some applicants may expect a follow-up email from our director with audition excerpts, to be recorded at home and sent through to the email given. These recordings can be audio in .wav, .mp3, or .wma, or in video format if preferred. If recording is not preferable, auditionees can book an audition time within the audition period (10th to 31st May) with our director, or a phone interview can be arranged.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesAudition clips will be accepted from the 10th to the 31st May. Rehearsals will run weekly until the production date, 21st September.
