Male Lead, Mark, a Happy Go Lucky and Charming Cafe Owner
We are looking for a male actor play Mark, Mia's happy go lucky husband. We want actors who bring energy and nuance to their performance, who feel confident in expressing emotion through action and movement as well as dialogue.
This is an MA project for UWS, written and directed by Sarab Sahni and will be filmed on an industry standard cine camera (provided by UWS). Post production, all performers will be granted access to their scenes for showreel purposes.
*this role is unpaid, but expenses will be reimbursed throughout production*
Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates28th and 29th of May + 4th and 5th of June (auditions)

LEADING MALE CHARACTER IN SHORT FILM, GLASGOW/AYR
Mark is the laidback and charming cafe owner. He gets a lot of pleasure from others and is in a fulfilling but challenging relationship with Mia, a passionate fiction writer. He likes to tease Mia, but finds himself uneasy in his new role as her muse.
For this role it is essential that the performer is able to convey a warm and enticing stage presence that shows both charm and innocence.
