Actress for Short Film - 'Under Par'
accidentally finds it.
I am looking for an actress in the 50's - 70's range to play the part of Niaph, Jordan's aunt who berates the boy for attempting to sell of his late father's golf equipment, rather than deal with the grief of a lost father directly. A strong character who doesn't sugar-coat her words but exudes a distinct blend of her own tough-love for her nephew.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesShoot at 3pm in the afternoon at Tempe Golf Range.
This job is unpaid
Expenses paid - I will make sure to cover transport costs. Small snacks and water will be provided over the course of the afternoon.
Niamh, Jordan’s Auntie, arrives at the car park and Jordan shuffles in his seat, becoming nervous. She is tiny and fiery, and walking with extreme purpose toward him with glaring eyes. He is selling a golf club that she bought for Jordan’s father. Niamh explodes and puts him in his place. A comic supporting role that commands the scene. Personally I'm excited to oversee the casting of this character.
