25-45 Year Old Female, Supporting Role in University Short Film

Western Australia, Australia
Listed by View details

Frozen Moments is about young boy, Jack, who has been dropped off by his mother, Sarah to spend the afternoon at his Grandfathers house. Bored, he stumbles across his Grandfathers old film camera which acts as a force to bring the family together.

We have already cast our lead male and want this character to look related to her son. Would prefer an actress with brown, darker features like eyes and hair and olive skin.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

We are hoping to hold auditions in the next 2-3 weeks. Scheduling for the final shoot is still being finalised but we estimate that this character will need 3-4 days on set and will most likely occur over the weekends.

Job payment

This job is unpaid - Please note, that this is a university production, preferably, all talent must be willing to work unpaid and in return we will appreciate their services with provided catering and a copy of the film

Sarah, supporting role, Jack's mother

Sarah is Jack’s mother. Her background is never fully revealed, but the story alludes to her being a single mother, working long hours as a nurse to support her family. She is strong and doesn’t let her anxieties show. She wants what is best for her son, encouraging him to take up his passions and will do anything to protect him. At the start, Sarah is tired, distancing herself from her father and son. By the end, she opens up and also relaxes, wanting to cherish the moments with her family.
