About the subject of the documentary:
Finished shooting a documentary on Julie Stoddern, a lady who lives in Cornwall, England. She takes in ex-convicts, drug addicts and the homeless and spends all of her time running around trying to earn the money to feed them and support them. She does this by modelling and delivery driving.

In the past she has seen a hanging, fights, overdoses and has had a knife held to her throat. The stories of people she has helped and been unable to help are touching and shocking.

Because she tries to help so many people at once it seems her outlook is trying to survive month by month.

She knows and supports people all around the world; from Nigeria to Jamaica. They contact her constantly, meaning she gets around a hundred messages a day.

Her willingness to speak openly about her struggles and her good sense of humour will undoubtedly make her a captivating person to see on film, not to mention her interesting way of life.

How we shot the documentary:
I got a sound recordist to help me shoot this documentary, since sound is so important to a film. I shot the doc in 4K and brought my lighting kit for indoor scenes. The sound is also good quality- the sound recordist works as a professional and he used boom mics and radio mics.

We need an editor to do the project justice. We got some great footage and want the editing to elevate the project even further.

It's a bit of a cliche for a documentary about drug addiction and homelessness to have a very serious tone. I want the funnier and more optimistic parts of the story to be a key part of the documentary. The serious parts of the story are still important but should not be milked to such an extent that they become cliche.

The documentary should end up being 10-20 minutes long.

Will submit the film into film festivals around the world. There's a small chance if the documentary does well that a production company will fund us to make a longer documentary.

What we're looking for in an editor:
Would preferably like an editor experienced in editing documentaries. Needs to be free several hours a week. No deadline on the project but would like the editing finished in 2-3 months preferably.

I have 275 GB of footage so you'll need to have enough storage space.
