We have been asked to find people who currently smoke cigarettes, people who have quit cigarettes and nicotine altogether and people who were smokers but switched completely to e-cigarettes or heated tobacco products to take part in a round-table discussion on policies and opinions around smoke-free alternatives to continued cigarette smoking for adult smokers. The discussion will be filmed for an international tobacco and vape company and is intended to be edited into a video to appear on their website and social media.
Anyone selected for filming would be needed for one day during the week commencing September 23rd and will be paid £500 (the resulting video is intended to be used to encourage discussion around the regulation of smoke-free alternatives - it will be used on the company's website and social media around the world for 5 years).
The round table discussion will involve six people and will be led by a presenter. Bearing in mind it is a video and a lively discussion is expected, participants should be confident, comfortable, opinionated and chatty on camera. One element of the round table will be to listen to the host present a series of statistics and - so we're keen to find people who like intelligent conversations around new ideas and are willing to share their own opinions.
