These are 60/90 second videos that feature a very normal, unassuming person chatting to camera about how a new technology has had an incredible effect on the way they work/live/feel.
They will be scripted, but shouldn’t feel it so we need really strong actors for this one.
The acting should be understated. We’re looking for very natural, authentic performances – not dramatic ones. Body language will play a key role in the storytelling and should not feel contrived. There will be lots of close ups and multiple cameras focused on them.
This is a great opportunity for actors to showcase their talent. They’ll be the hero of their own ‘Incredible Story’ and will be expected to comfortably deliver a performance that is believable, gritty and emotive. They should be comfortable taking direction for the film and for some accompanying photographic stills.
With COVID-19, we will be casting this one via self-tapes (actors will need to introduce themselves and perform a short script). Shoot dates - TBC. Likely July or August.
