Tenor Sax Player Wanted for Working 60s Style R&B Band

We have been a successful blues band for a long time now and our line up of piano, trumpet, bass and drums has set us apart from guitar-based blues groups.

Based in Brisbane, now we are moving to more danceable and upbeat material focused on classic 60s era rhythm and blues, and we want to add a tenor sax to the line up so that we can reproduce the great horn section sound of the period.

We’re not just a covers clone, we like to throw some more obscure songs and originals into the mix.

If you have some reasonable chops and can play with a feel for this music we’d love to hear from you. Oh and it would be great if you could sing some simple back up parts.

We also have a working jazz standards group alongside the main band.
