JAY is a 15-20 minute short film centred around a young woman with disabilities, aspiring to be a social media star who becomes victim to brutal cyber-bullies.
To gain a strong sense of realism, the scenes will be improvised with clear scene objectives given to the actors beforehand. Your input into character development will be actively encouraged.
Showreel footage and images will be provided for actors.
Although this is a passion project, expenses will be paid. The successful applicants will receive an IMDB credit and the film will be entered into the film festival circuit.
Please note - strong themes - mental health and low level violence. (The main character is pushed to the ground resulting in cut to her forehead).
