Production states: "We are asking people who are interested to pitch an idea - of a 'character;' it could be someone you know/someone in history/a character in a novel/poem that you feel deserves to have a voice - that potentially hasn’t been heard before. Once we have collected the voices we will workshop it individually at first with an actor/ dancer/ artist etc and then work as a whole group to bring it together.
It will be tackled from a mental health perspective, trying to get across how these 'characters' might feel inside their head. Some pieces might be performed in the dark, some in the light, some might have projections, some might have text, some might have no text. It might be performed in one night or over three or four. Whatever we feel is needed to portray these stories best, and get these voices heard. Alongside we will also be making a short film, as a series of 'chapters' for each story.
If you'd like to submit a 'pitch' you can put it together in any way you choose, filming; voice notes, visuals etc.
Our last project was performed at SET, Dalston and we will continue to collaborate with this venue for ongoing projects. Look forward to hearing from you."
Send your ideas by video/multimedia/voice notes/visuals, any way you choose.
