The location and dates are already confirmed so this shoot is definitely going ahead. Location is EN3.
We are looking for an assistant director. Experience would be very helpful, but not essential. What is essential is a strong enthusiasm. Making a shot list and schedule will be a lot of work and the job is unpaid, so a strong desire to get AD experience will be essential to keep you motivated :)
If you have no experience, you will likely have to spend some time researching what an AD does and how to do it.
The entire first series is 15 pages. The plan is to make a pilot based on the first 7 episodes and use that to raise money for the rest of the show. The 4 days at the end of August are all in a single location, covering the majority of the first 7 episodes, which are about 50 pages.
The script is finished and ready. I will be DoP and have written notes on the script as to which shots we want for each scene. Your main role before the shoot will be to convert that into a shot list and then into a shooting schedule for the 4 days. Your main job on the day will be make sure that we get through all the shots that you planned for that day.
IMDb credit will be provided. Food is included. Travel expenses are paid up to £25/day.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
