It Gets Better UK envisions a world where all LGBTQ+ youth are free to live equally and know their worthiness and power as individuals. We strive to tell the stories of LGBTQ+ people and to provide positive and reassuring messages to LGBTQ+ youth.

The It Gets Better Project was founded in 2010 in America. Since then, affiliated charities have been formed in 19 different countries, with It Gets Better UK formally launching in 2018.

Our campaign: The Documentary-Photography series.
We are now at the exciting stage of developing a social campaign for 2020 to create more understanding of how important it is to create safe spaces within the LGBTQ+ community.

Our aim is to create a series of posters that will be shared through social media and other marketing platforms.

The objective is to portray a variety of individuals in their real-life safe spaces.

We are looking for photographers that are creative, that enjoy working with diverse people and has special character and way of doing things. This is a really exciting opportunity for documentary photographers.

This is a volunteer opportunity but we cover ALL expenses from renting locations/studios, food, transport, etc.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

Shootings will take place between September/October. We are flexible and we can schedule the models when you are free.

Job payment

Fixed price of £40 - 2 hour shoot
