Its a café scene, chance of some improv but nothing guaranteed.
We have a project of 12 short films based on characters and stories in the Damon Runyon books (also the inspiration for "Guys and Dolls") which we will be offering to Netflix. We are going to shoot the first of these 12, a 15 minute script, in October this year – following government social distancing rules.
We are an experienced team of writers and directors. We haven’t offered this project to an external production company, and have decided to self-produce with nominal payment for everyone, all of us virtually working for free. We appreciate this is a big ask, and are ourselves committing to this project for the passion of it, as it’s a good script and team, and on the promise of well paid and satisfying work if the other 11 are picked up.
The team behind this project are award-winners Sacha Alexander, Malachi Smyth, and Paul Higgins. We have high hopes for this project and if you are interested, let me know.
