Hip Hop and Breakdance Teacher Wanted

Turbelles Performing Arts are seeking a teacher to deliver two hip hop and two breakdancing classes to ages 7 to 18 on Saturdays in Ilford, Essex for a duration of three hours and twenty minutes.

The right candidate should have good and current street dance choreographic skills as well as be a talented break dancer who is able to safely teach a wide range of tricks.

We welcome applications from those who work well within a team, are fun, motivational and disciplined.

Terms
One-year minimum contract with a two-month probation period.
£70 per Saturday (12pm until 3.15pm).
Must have a DBS. Should you not have one you will need to apply.
We break for Easter, Summer and Christmas. We do not break for half terms.
Start date is the 7th November.

Compulsory Requirements
Must have had experience working with children and teenagers
Choreograph to a high standard
Must be a skilled b-boy/b-girl
Be able to plan lessons to ensure all students are progressing
Good organisational skills and be able to reach set targets and deadlines
Prepare students for competitions and performances
Be punctual and reliable
Enjoy working with young people
Work well within a team
