Job payment

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Student film, a VCA Graduate short

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

Female lead, "The Violinist"

VIOLIN-PLAYING NON-ESSENTIAL, BUT HIGHLY DESIRABLE! She always puts herself after others and is accommodating, to a fault. She has an incredible silent inner strength, she bears hardship and turmoil with stoicism. She’s intelligent and refined, a talented violinist, and when she plays those who are watching can feel the love she transmits. Able to be alone but fears it and would prefer to stave off that fear by taking care of others – she deliberately doesn’t make time to think about herself.

Female, aged 30 to 40

Male lead, "The Scientist"

He is a passionate, driven man who is in love with the world. At dinner tables you need to give him puzzles to solve so he will stay put. He searches for scientific truths in an unending quest which take him to the farthest reaches and the deepest jungles. He is not a tyrant, maliciously selfish, or a bully. He loves and deeply respects his wife, dearly and earnestly, although he struggles to take himself away from his work for too long.
