Nonbinary Teenager for Queer Short Film

'Right Here' is Claudia Bailey's fourth short film, they are a nonbinary writer and director, an AFTRS alumni and the winner of 'Young Australian Filmmaker of the Year' Award. This project has an incredible queer team attached. From Brenna Harding producing to Zoe Terakes starring. This is an incredible opportunity to work with some of Sydney's most prolific queer creatives.
As this role is a nonbinary character, we’re only interested in casting a nonbinary/trans/gender fluid person.

Grace
Grace (15) – they/them On their fifteenth birthday, Grace comes out as non-binary to their parents. They’ve always had a strong sense of self - they were that annoying kid that asked unfiltered questions to strangers and never let their mum dress them - board shorts over jeggings are cool, right?. So in some ways, it was a long time coming. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. If they are one thing, it is courageous.
