Two Actors Needed for Two Short Plays for Zoom Theatre

7/7 (performed at Edinburgh as The Circle Line) and Plastic England each require one male and one female actor. They were written to be performed together but each can be put on on its own. With some adaptation they are suitable for zoom performance. Both are surrealist in tone and in each the female acts as the inner self of the male.

7/7 is based on the London Bombings in 2005 and in Plastic England Jim Wheelwright is confined to a wheelchair as the result of an accident in which he killed his wife. He sees his condition as a metaphor for the state of Britain.

Texts will be available to view on the website after application. You will need to find a director and fix up your own zoom calls. If you haven't done zoom before you can get quite good at semi-reading a text behind the computer and make it look as if you aren't reading it which avoids too much learning scripts.
