Will be staged in Sunshine North in March 2021.
Please note that while Broadway Junior productions usually require cast members to be aged under 18 years, Music Theatre International have temporarily lifted this cap - which provides a unique opportunity for older actors to participate!
There is no minimum age or experience required. However to ensure a high standard, auditions will be held and offers made according to ability. There are a number of lead roles which require confident singers and actors, and voice or dance ensemble options too.
Please note that this is a community production and as such is unpaid.

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
Perchik
Perchik is a young student who brings with him radical new ideas that challenge the traditions of the community. Perchik should be able to hold his own with Tevye. He is a strong character, and clashes with Tevye idealistically, but is likable, charming and ultimately becomes a loyal family member. Vocal range top: C5 Vocal range bottom: B3

Fyedka
Fyedka is a strong, young, Russian soldier who falls in love with Chava. This is a great role for a strong, non-singing actor.

Ensemble
The ensemble participates in all choruses and some basic movement / dance. Four - six of the villagers will be required to be confident dancers. There is opportunity for some of the ensemble to speak a small number of lines. There are roles for male and female, children, youth and adult here! No acting experience required - but must be ready to sing, dance and have fun!
