At its core, “The Weeping Woman” functions to empower an audience through Elaine’s rise to physical and emotional freedom. It explores elements of emotionally abusive relationships including the abuse of consent, trust, and control depicting them through the visual metaphor of art.
'The Weeping Woman' is a graduate piece for Swinburne Film and Television students looking to shoot in 2021. The final film will be submitted to film festivals both nationally and internationally.
