Final year students at Griffith Film School are producing a high-quality pilot series for an ‘escape room’ style TV game show with the aim of getting it commissioned for broadcast television or online streaming in Australia and overseas.
The series is called, The Maze of the Machiavellian Minotaur, and features three teams of two contestants, competing to solve hard puzzles and riddles to be the first escape a maze with outlandish rooms while a threatening character, The Minotaur, the custodian of the maze, tries to stop them.
We will be shooting the series in Brisbane in June 2021 are a looking for an engaging, comedic actor who is a good improviser and also good at puzzles.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesRehearsals and shooting dates will be about June 21st-2nd July, these dates are not locked in yet but will be within this time frame. We will need you for roughly 3-4 days. We will also need you to come in for fittings and meetings in the weeks following up to the shoot period, this only needs to be once a week possibly once a fortnight.

The Minotaur enjoys playing with his food before he digs in. The miscreants that have the misfortune of finding themselves in his maze must prove themselves capable of completing his mind games. Stubborn, arrogant, cunning and an aspiring comedian. Although he tortures those who come in he also practices his work them, seeking the approval he never got from his parents.
