Set in an undisclosed European nation in the 1980s, a man is blackmailed by an intelligence service into carrying a bomb across a border checkpoint. Whilst in line, the bomb is accidentally activated, setting off the timer. During this, the man unwittingly befriends a beautiful woman. As time is running out, the man is held up by a curious guard, the bomb still ticking in his briefcase. Fortunately, the woman convinces the guard to let him pass. He thanks her and they head their separate ways. With the bomb now reset, the man makes the drop at the targeted embassy. Just when it appears all is over, he turns to see the woman waving at him, the briefcase in hand.

This is a short film for a University course assessment. We are also looking to enter it in some local film festivals.

What we are looking for are some European-looking extras of all ages to be part of the border checkpoint line and also civilians at the embassy.

The Border Checkpoint line scene will be filmed on the 30th of April and 1st of May. The Embassy scene will be filmed on the 2nd of May. Ideally we will have the extras for both scenes, however, if only available for one it will still be appreciated.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

Shooting will be on Friday the 30th of April to Sunday the 2nd of May (3 shooting days)

Job payment

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity
