The film is called The Family Tree. It's about an author on Britain's strangest trees who stumbles upon a mystery concerning the whereabouts of the grave of a 16th century witch finder.
At the end of the film she discovers that the witch finder was turned into a tree by the women he tormented, as she accidentally awakens his ghost.
The role I'm casting is that of the heroine: she is a modern witch, a good witch – who appears twice in the film. Early in the film she is perceived as someone to be fearful of – this part does not involve talking, just a close up appearance.
The second time she appears is at the end of the film to save the day, by reciting a spell that casts away the witch finder's ghost.
This would be filming near Bath in July, with a pay of £100. You would be needed once in daylight and again at night, with the night scene likely taking place in a nearby forest.
We are looking for someone who is slightly ambiguous – ie, you can't quite tell if they're malevolent or benevolent.
Please get in touch if this role interests you!
