Looking for experience actors in the area of improvisation. You will be working with students who are training to become counsellors.

You will be playing the part of a person in need of help in various area of their lives. This could be relationship issues such as, wife, husband, girl/boyfriend, parents (your own or becoming one) or it could be you are homeless, or suffering from depression, maybe you have just moved to the country and struggling with loneliness and settling in etc.

You will be provided with a character brief to improvise from.

All work is paid.

Future on going work is also offered to the right people.

Janice - 21st October 3 positions

Janice is a 32 year old woman attends your community agency for emergency relief. In assessing her need for food vouchers and utility bill support, Janice explains to you that her de-facto partner, Mick, has “ a bit of a gambling problem “ and they have been having problems making the rental payments and paying bills.

Mahn migrated to Western Australia in 2002 from Burma, after living in a Thailand refugee camp with his family for seven years. They were forced to flee their homeland in southern Burma due to years of civil conflict, leaving behind Mahn’s family.

Kamil 13,20&27 Oct must be available for all dates

Kamil is a 37 year old man who lives in a small supported accommodation service in Perth. Kamil lives with schizophrenia and experiences persistent delusions (usually they are around church/religion, he feels ‘they’ are trying to indoctrinate him to gain power over his mind). Most of the time Kamil says they don’t bother him too much and he gets on with his day, even when he is distracted.
