Pitch Your True-Life Story to a Freelance Womens' Magazines Journalist
You story needs to have happened - or come to a head /had a related twist - this year, or last, please.
Your name will be used. You will be asked to provide some photos to show what happened and you may be required to have a professional photographer take some photos of you (nice!!) for the article should a magazine want to go ahead.
It's dramatic, true stories that are wanted please (fun or moving) - and your story needs to be able to be summed up simply - no life stories/opinion/ambition pieces. It would also need to be an "exclusive" (not published or talked to other journalists about for this listing please).
If your story looks like it is up my street, I'll be in touch promptly (so please do try to have your phone on!). I can only assess your story if you tell me the main facts when applying please.
Don't worry about it at all - just have a go in the same way you'd blurt what's happened out to an old friend you'd just bumped into in the street who asked you: "How are you?"
If you can honestly see yourself getting as far as talking about it in a UK national woman's weekly magazine about your true-life story - then you might be on to a winner.
Your payment is made to you after your story is published. The name of the magazine and your fee is provided in writing first so you can relax and know the magazine is obliged to pay you a fixed amount.
Please don't delay, You can find out more and only go ahead if you're comfortable first.

Tell your real life story in one line - to sell?
All stories welcome - so long as the facts are extraordinary (usually to do with other people in your life) and would be hard for any journalist to just research and find somebody to talk to easily, like, say a health story.
Hard to find stories, hopefully like yours, might be something like these below:
I was jilted at the altar- now married his best man.
Husband wanted me a lose weight; I did and he left!
Triplet sisters had double mastectomies to avoid cancer gene
Sister stole my man
