Actor Needed for Lead Role in Music Video
A slick, hot shot, middle-aged banker gets into the front seat of his retro MG convertible, he starts the engine and sets off into the evening. Our protagonist is sporting dark sunglasses, a gold watch and other shiny and flash accessories.
On the passenger seat is a map of East Sussex. It is old and immaculately designed with some noticeable wear from its age. On the map, there is a large X labelled ‘GOLD’. Clearly his destination. His ferocious MG rips and glides through the beautiful Southern downlands and countryside.
He pulls the car over on a quiet road. He gets out and refers to the map. After gaining more clarity over his orientation he returns to the car. Struck by the absolute beauty of the local vistas he pauses and takes it in. There is a sad longing in his eye. He gets back in his car and jets off.
In a quaint beer garden our protagonist inspects the map further whilst sipping an ale. He is distracted by his expensive smart phone which won’t stop vibrating. The contact calling is listed as ‘North Valley Financial-VP’. He tucks the map into his pocket, finishes his beer and leaves. The phone is left at the table, still ringing.
After traversing through more countryside, he finally reaches his destination. Carrying a shovel, he heads toward a small derelict fort. He enters the fort, amazed at the maps accuracy. He begins to dig at the forts back wall. He pulls a large treasure chest out the ground. He opens the lid and a luminous golden glow covers his face.
The protagonist leaves the fort only now he is dressed in an incredible golden dress complemented by a large extravagant wig and impressive make-up. He expressively dances the night away on top of the pleasant southern hillside. Free from the constraints of work and masculinity. Liberated from societies standard.
We are looking for a middle aged heavy-set gentlemen who can work for one day during a weekend in March. We are currently looking to shoot on the 11th or 12th but these dates may be subject to change.
The shoot will last approximately 5 hours 30 minutes. 1:30pm (pick-up) - 7:00pm (wrap)
There's no dialogue in this piece which will give us all the chance to focus on the characters actions as well as conveying deep and honest emotion through expressions and mannerisms.
I'm sure many of you will be disappointed in the fact that you won't actually be driving the 1961 MG-A class but many of the scenes will be shot in and around the vehicle whilst its stationary. We will be swapping in a driver dressed in the same outfit for when the car is moving.
We fully encourage you to collaborate with us by bringing your own uniqueness and creativity to the role. Our only request is for you to be confident and comfortable enough to wear a woman's costume and make up for the climatic scene as it is here where the video finds it's conclusive moment and meaning.
If possible could you provide us with any show reels you have or any footage of previous work. We look forward to hearing from you.

We have a stunt double for the driving scenes therefore the actor should look somewhat similar to the driver in height and build which is 5'11 - 13/14 stone. There is of course plenty of room for leeway as the driver will have his face, eyes and head fully covered and will be sat down throughout the video.
