Two Actors for High School Touring Show in Victoria
The program consists of a 60-minute secondary school show. It is an ANZAC Centenary show that is currently touring schools in 2018.
Performance days are generally comprised of 1-3 performances at 1 or 2 schools. The show bumps-in / out in 30 minutes each way.
Touring will be intermittent, rather than continuous, and we are recruiting two actors who will join our swing cast. You will be expected to learn both roles, and to work in any combination with fellow cast members. Some regional touring will be required.
The call is open to actors of any age, appearance, gender, ethnicity or eccentricity. But kids are noisy so we do need you to be vocally strong and capable of projecting your voice - without amplification – the back of a theatre.
The ability to sing or play a musical instrument will be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
A current driver's licence is an advantage.
You will need to hold or undergo a Working With Children check.
Payment is in line with current award agreements.

Actor playing multiple roles
There are multiple characters in each of the two parts, from older person reflecting on life to young soldier going off to war - so these roles are fun, in that they should let you show the full range of your acting abilities.
