Bass player required to fill the ranks of established cruise ship party band. Work booked in for the next 18 months, experience working long distance ESSENTIAL. Covering everything from 50’s and 60’s rock and roll, Latin Nights, RnB, Lounge Jazz through to current chart hits. We are a high energy party band, this means a certain amount of movement and choreography is expected onstage whilst performing, as we include theme nights and tribute acts in our repertoire, we are expected to sound and look the part. We do not want anyone just walking into this kind of work for the first time, and we need somebody who will be able to handle the day to day goings on that come with a life at sea, and already have a level of experience which should include a large and varied repertoire, built up over time of actually performing on long-distance contract work. An ability to read music is essential as we are also handed charts for productions on board sometimes quite last minute, and these are always given to us in the form of sheet music. That said, for the right player, this is a very exciting time to join a committed, in demand band with loads of work coming up all over the world. We try to push forward constantly with everything we do down to the smallest detail performance wise, so if this sounds like you please get in touch!
