Three Actors Required for Charity Funded Short Film
The short film is focused on a family who suffers when the father is sent to prison for a serious crime, with the mother doing her best to prevent their child from discovering the details.
It will be shot from the point of view of the teenage child of the family, so it will require natural acting towards the camera.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesThere will be one rehearsal prior to shooting (arranged to suit) and the production dates are 24th - 27th July.
Paid - £100 per filming day, £10 per hour rehearsal

Working class, proud, strong personality but struggling with circumstance. The mother of the family is having to deal with her husband being sent to prison for a serious crime. Although she receives support from her own mother, she is finding it increasingly difficult to keep the grim details of the crime from her teenage child.

The grandmother deeply cares about her family and even though she worries about her daughter and grandchild, she would never show it. After her son-in-law is sent to prison for a serious crime, she provides her own version of support to the family, largely in the form of her immediate presence.

Warm, approachable, friendly. After the teenage child of the family gets bullied and in trouble for fighting at school, the teacher/counselor provides a platform for the family to present the facts, and inform the child of the truth surrounding the father's imprisonment.
