I'm a classically trained pianist, (Grade 8 Honours.) I play all styles of music.
I started my career played keyboards in London based bands, who were resident in nightclubs , which included backing well known acts.
Original London based bands include Pete Brown's "Back to the Front", (album "Party in the Rain"); "Tour de Force" (signed to Harvey Goldsmith) and SNAFU.
Contracts in the 90s included 5 star hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Oman and Syria in a Hi-tech duo, (lead vocalist/keyboards and programmer), and a 7 month residency on the QE2.
I then created Essex Music Services which dealt in Music arrangements. Arrangements included 23 show tunes for a show at the London Palladium, (20 piece orchestra), and strangely, for the Royal Academy of Music. You'd think they'd have enough arrangers in house!
From 2003-2010 I was MD for London based Newpalm Productions, for their theater shows.
1999 onwards. Touring UK tribute shows include Wendy Robert's Carpenters, Pete Tobit's Reach Out, Sweet Home Chicago and The Commitments, and Marc Robinson's Buddy Holly tribute band. I played Christine Perfect (keys/vocs) in the Fleetwood Bac Tribute band and fronted my own Blondie Tribute as Debbie Harry in Blonde and Beyond. Also 3-6 monthly Solo pianist contracts for Royal Caribbean & Cunard.
TV appearances include "The Warehouse", "Amii Stewart Live in Concert" on European TV, "24 Hours" Ch 4.
2015, MD for "Oh, Yes We Can!", a totally improvised touring show based on "Whose Line Is It Anyway" with the audience choosing the theme and music styles.
2016 - present. Keyboards/bv's in the newly reformed SNAFU feat Bobby Harrison, original vocalist and co writer. Gigs include the 100 Club, Oxford St., Monsters of Rock, Skegness and summer festivals.
