As a professional speaker (80+ sessions), Maria is comfortable in front of a crowd and being filmed. She has also studied the Meisner acting technique at Actors Temple.
Maria played Judy, a medical examiner, in short film Symptoms. She has also been an extra in a feature film (Brand New-U), in several episodes of Holby City, including as a walk-on, 1 episode of Cuckoo and a featured extra in an advert for Huawei mobile phones. Maria has also appeared in two TV shows (Computer Friendly for CBS and The Linux Chix for BBC World). She played an orphan called March in the play Rat Catcher's Daughter, which ran for several months both as an outdoor show at a Chuckwagon in New Mexico and at the local theatre.
On the other side of the camera, Maria is a film and TV judge for BAFTA and helped set up Virgin Media Shorts. Maria is one of the most influential people in UK New Television as voted by VOD Professional.
