Passionardor is the production name for UK dance music songwriter/ producer Mark Moore. The name came from his passion for electronics & ardor harks back to the past for the soulful side of dance music & live instrumentation - often fusing both. Over the last 16 years, he has been an accomplished freelance feature writer, acclaimed record reviewer & photographer for all the major dance publications, lifestyle magazines, newspapers & websites in the UK & overseas, the linchpin for Danny Rampling’s website & promoted one-off parties & charity events. His extensive contacts within the dance music field has seen Mark travel throughout the world on tour with DJs/ producers or covering new territories’ dance scenes & was the only European journalist/ photographer to be invited to stay with Frankie Knuckles in Chicago for Frankie Knuckles Day. He collaborated with Jocelyn Brown, Joey Negro & Danny Rampling on Il Padrinos “How Good the Love Is” on Defected Records. Since 2004, the dance floors have had the chance to meet the by-gone songwriter Mark Moore who has a unique hands-on approach to the soulful house genre/ disco house/ funk/ jazz/ chill out & pop plus more electronic/ electro house with live instrumentation & polished electronic production. Mark Moore typically writes the lyrical content & melodic layers of organic & electronic instrumentation (often combining the two for a unique sound), arranges & produces the beats of his songs, sources musicians & singers plus plays keys.. He has had record releases & remixes on Soulfuric, Influential House Recordings, Kinky Malinki, Del Records, Mixture Stereo, Miss Moneypennys Records, Avioground, MAP Dance, 953 Recordings, Gotta Keep Faith Records, Sobra Recordings, DVision, 99 Waves, PR Records, Soulful Vibes Records, Distar Records, Stereocity, Unity Gain, Ministry of Sound Australia, KMG Chicago, Swishcraft Music, Power of Love Productions, Chicago to London and Disco Balls Records. His tracks have appeared on compilations by Mn2S, Loveslap, Sobra Recordings, Power of Love, Del Records, Sobra Recordings, LW Recordings, Reflective Music, Disco Balls Records, Stereocity, Kingdom & Ministry of Sound, UK & Australia. He won a nationwide remix competition on Influential House Records in 2008 & licensed 22 releases in 2009! His remixes include Martin Solveig’s “One.2.3.Four”, Martini Brothers “Dum,” Pacific 202’s “Project 808,”which was licensed to Ministry of Sound Australia. 2010 saw 12 records licensed including the Never Lose Faith EP, the Floor Fodder EP & the Served Chilled EP on Power of Love & Insomniac’s Fantasy on Avioground which got licensed to the Human Miracleofcom compilation. 2012 saw the Summer Dub EP released. He also programmed fourteen hours of music for the National Football Museum which launched on 6th July 2012 in Manchester. At the end of October 2012, the Summer Dub EP was two weeks at number 1 in the house charts in Finland (meteli.net part of Basepoint Media) in the top 10 for eight weeks, number 8 in the top 100 Urban Chart & number 3 in the electronic charts. The follow up Transfiguration EP on Power of Love was number 6 in the house charts (7/5/13), & number 9 in the electronic charts.
Summer 2013 saw the DJ promo for the 62 minute 11 track Never Knowingly Undersouled EP on Gotta Keep Faith's sister label Sobra Recordings, a fusion of disco, live & deep house vocals & dubs & released on compilation Tropicalismo in July 2015. August 2013 saw the Jubilation EP (Power of Love Productions, USA) of three tracks. 2015 saw remixes released of Rise & E-Motion on Power of Love plus two EPs - the four track Funky Floor EP & the five track Never Abandon Hope EP.
2016 saw the release of hip-hop track "What Are You Fighting For" on Soulful Vibes Records (Yellow Rhinestone), "You Only Mean The Moon" on 99 Waves, “I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye” EP on Power of Love Productions plus forthcoming "Ask Me Why" on Distar Records, “It’s You I Live For” and “Disco Bounce” plus six remixes (Hakan Turan feat Rico Franchi “Rainbow In The Sky,” Jerem A feat Desi “Diamond Life,” DAITM “My World Is Shaking,” Fresh Lemons feat. Nathalia “Lift Me Up,” Aaron North “Crazy Love” & Scoop “Don’t Say You Love Me” released 10th October 2016) on Discoballs Records, “Groove 303” on PR Records, “Call To The Floor” on KMG Chicago and “The 33rd Degree” on PR Records…. Since 2016 he has produced over 30 remixes for Disco Balls Records, Miami. 2018 saw Passionardor collaborate with two singers from Melbourne in Australia with “Love Getaway (Escape)” which climbed to number 13 in the Australian Dance Charts. Three follow-ups are to be released on Kingdom/ Chicago to London, distributed by Mn2S and Sony. Early 2019 has the track featured on compilation Weapons of Choice, mixed by Gene Hunt on Love Vibration Nation. Other collaborations with London soul singer Natalie Corbett to be released on Sobra Recordings end of 2018 plus Disco Balls Records and Kingdom/ Chicago to London (Sony) early 2019. Melbourne’s OctaviaSpace sees the first collaboration on Gotta Keep Faith early 2019 with more on Kingdom/ Chicago to London (Sony). And to go full circle, his biggest hit “Everlasting Love” on Soulfuric was re-released via Defected/ Soulfuric in October 2018. 2019 already has five remixes signed to Disco Balls Records,Miami.
