Teaching or Choreography ability
I have been breakdancing since the age of 6 and continued in a crew (The Style Monkeys) until age 18. I took part in competitions, displays and performances. I was part of a 4 boy crew who danced for JD Sports Oxford Street for their official opening. More recently with my HND I have been improving different styles of dance and have enjoyed the challenges that brings. Being a breakdancer can make it difficult to transition to ballet or contemporary but I have taken the challenge and been very successful. I was male lead dancer in the amateur production of Little Shop of Horrors and West Side Story at the Palace Theatre Southend. I took part in a national competition when I was 8 years old in Amsterdam and came 9th overall out of 97 dancers. I can flip, somersault, headstand, windmill, flare, jackhammer, handhop, headspin and also provide great musicality in toprock footwork.
