I moved to New Zealand last year to pursue my acting career, and have had a range of acting jobs, including a play, Pirates vs Ninjas, where I played Steve the Ninja, 2 commercials, Countdown & Thin Lizzy, a range of modelling gigs and most recently I have been working on a Virtual Reality Training App for doctors working within the WDHB. Prior to that I worked as a nurse on Shortland Street in a minor role, and have had a few other small TV credits back in the UK including Close to the Edge and Full English Breakfast.
I also worked a 6 month season in Greece and Cyprus as a Hotel Entertainer, which involved running the daytime activities and then hosting the evening entertainment, as well as performing as a dancer in the dance shows 3 nights a week.
I graduated with a Drama degree from Greenwich University, where I performed in Attempts on Her Life as my showcase. Before that I trained for 4 years in Performing Arts specialising in acting at the renowned Jellicoe Theatre in Bournemouth, where I was taught by playwright Andrew Muir, amongst many other great lecturers. I have also been receiving dance training in ballet, tap, modern and jazz to improve my dance, movement and physical theatre skills.
During training I have performed in a number of great roles, including Cecile, in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Joan in KneeHigh's adaption of Cymbeline and a caricature of myself in Andrew Muir's Damascus, which he wrote for my class in my final year at The Jellicoe. I have also performed in several professional pantomimes as a dancer, as well as performing in number of dance shows over the years.
