Nicki is currently co writing and working on projects with producer Jolyon Dixon (Amy Mcdonald, The Who). Nicki has written and recorded with Rob Cass (Cave Productions) at world renowned Abbey Road Studios. She has worked on her own material at Abbey Road and on other projects as a session vocalist and top line writer. Nicki also works with Simon Ellis (BRIT Award winning songwriter & musical director for acts including Britney Spears, Spice Girls) on her own music and for known artists in the industry.
Nicki is experienced in working as a top line writer for other artists. As well as writing she also works as a session vocalist and helps in producing vocals, harmonies, ghost vocals etc for other artists.

BIOG: Nicki has performed nationwide as a solo artist and as lead and backing vocalist in many bands from a very young age. This talented and extrovert singer/songwriter was born in West Wales. As a songwriter Nicki focuses mainly on top line writing giving her melodies and lyrics a fresh approach. Nicki’s creativity and exuberant ambition along with her superb vocals has resulted in the composition of some truly great songs.
In 2003 whilst working for Radio Pembrokeshire a serious car accident resulted in Nicki breaking both femurs and being wheel chair bound for over a year. During this difficult period of her life Nicki wrote many songs including a ballad especially for the British Armed Forces called 'Please Hold On'. Some of Nicki’s friends were serving abroad at that time and she wrote the song to give them hope, drawing on the emotions and strength she had used to learn to walk again after a series of operations, the last surgery in 2009. She has received coverage from TV and Radio for 'Please Hold On'. In December 2010 she was privileged to be interviewed by the BFBS Radio (British forces Radio) which was aired across Afghanistan to thousands in the British Forces. Nicki's song 'Joe' was played along with 'Please Hold On'.
A professional session singer both in the studio and live, Nicki is no stranger to large audiences. She is a both a powerful and soulful singer with over a four and a half octave range. She trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, London, and The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford.
Nicki has performed in The House Of Lords where she performed an acoustic set of her own original songs. She has been privileged to sing solo in some of the most famous venues including Her Majesty's Theatre, The London Palladium. Her repertoire and experience both live and recording is vast and she regularly works and sings live at private functions with some of the music industries top musicians.
Nicki was a contestant S4C's 'Welsh Big Brother' - cariad@iaith where she wrote and performed on the show her own original song 'Ar Hyn Ar Bryd' (At The Moment), the song was highlighted on the show and received full coverage of the writing and recording at Flach Studios, West Wales.

Nicki's original songs have reached Radio play on stations including BBC Radio Wales, Radio Cymru, British Forces BFBS, Jango Airplay, Last Fm
In addition to her song writing and recording skills Nicki also fronts and performs in many top corporate function bands. She regularly performs all over the UK with top musicians performing at private parties and corporate and open air events.
Nicki has a wealth of experience always keeping a fresh outlook and edge to her work. Her unique vocals, engaging extrovert stage presence and attention to detail makes her one of the best live session vocalists out there.
