Peter Michael Mathiesen

I am a well experienced musician, songwriter and composer with a Master Degree from the conservatory. I have played music for 27 years and i've playing a big part in arranging and composing music in several bands. through the years i've records and a lot of touring through Europe. In 2013 I released a critically acclaimed record with my main band, at this point, Mercenary "Through our darkest days" www.mercenary.dk I have borrowed four trailers, of which I own no legal rights to, where I first removed all original sound and afterwards replaced it with my musical interpretation of the visual impression the trailers gave me. Prior to the work I have done on these I chose, not to listen to the original sound in order to remain objective and not get inspired by anything else than the actual pictures. I have always been highly fascinated by what the visual gives or adds to audio associations. Throughout the trailers there are some parts where I have made some special sound effects, but all from a musical
perspective and principal. All music is made with my East West library which to date
consist of over 100 Gb of samples and growing.
