I have been a studio and touring musician for nearly 25 years and have backed many artists, performed in numerous theatrical productions and have vast experience worldwide as a Drummer & Percussionist. Artists worked for include Englebert Humperdinck, Joe Longthorne MBE, Peter Grant, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Albert Lee, Boz Boorer, Georgie Fame, The Drifters, Bucks Fizz, Charlie Gracie, John David, Darius Brubeck, Craig Douglas, Lesley Garrett CBE, Pete Pritchard, Liam Grundy, Danny La Rue OBE, Black Dyke Mills Brass Band, Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band, Welsh National Opera, British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, National Festival Orchestra & Moonlight Serenade Orchestra amongst many more; and at venues including the London Palladium, Ronnie Scotts, London Pizza Express, Brixton Academy, Shepherds Bush Empire, O2 Indigo and most UK theatres & concert halls on successive occasions. Theatre productions include 'The Rat Pack, Live from Las Vegas', 'The Elvis Collection', 'Buddy Holly, A Legend Reborn', 'The Neil Diamond Story', 'Be-Bop-A-Lula', 'Rock'n'Roll Paradise', 'West Side Story', 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Grease' & 'Me & My Girl', plus numerous Pantomime Seasons, Summer Seasons & Cruise Ship contracts. Corporate engagements include the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Dubai Burj Khalifa, Dubai Emirates Palace, Royal Variety Club of Great Britain, Universal Records Showcase, Riga Arena, Barcelona National Museum, EURO 96 & Longleat House amongst many more. Festivals include the Summer Jamboree (Italy), Burnley Blues Festival, Colne Rhythm'n'Blues Festival, Hemsby Rock'n'Roll Festival, Leeds Waterside Festival, Aldborough Manor Festival & Dublin Jazz Festival and dozens of appearances & recordings for TV, Radio & DVD releases, plus approximately 30+ commercial recordings for CD release and download albums. TV appearances include 'The One Show', 'Heartbeat', 'Emmerdale' & 'Songs of Praise', plus Radio appearances include BBC 'Festival of Brass', BBC 'Music Live' and several appearances on BBC Radio Merseyside, Leeds, Lincolnshire & nationwide. Original projects include Cathouse Creepers, Lisa George & the Pedalos, The Slingshots, Shawn Harvey & Chocante, and artists supported include Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Stray Cats, Take That, Jools Holland, Ronan Keating, Heather Small & Chaka Khan. I have worked in approximately 30 countries worldwide and have regularly composed, arranged and produced music for TV, Radio, theatre productions and cruise ship entertainment companies, for which I have also worked as a musician on many contracts including for Seabourn, NCL, Color Line & MS Pride of Bilbao. I have been an endorsee in the past for both Premier Percussion & Majestic (Holland) Percussion and have won several young musician awards between 1990 - 1995. I am a member of the Musicians Union (including £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance) and D.B.S. cleared, having worked in education with young people on and off for 20+ years conducting workshops and tutoring young drummers to go on and become professional musicians and teachers themselves in later years.
