A* equivalent (D*) in BTEC Performing Arts -2017

2019 Solomon’s Door -
Created by myself and a mate it was a two-man multimedia performance created by myself and friend focused around the notion of naturalism and escapism. Blending two medias of stage performance and video acting thought smooth transitions.

2019 On the Inside -
Created by myself and an ensemble of fellow actors. Consider the role of fate and place yourself at the helm. Explore the city of Leeds through unfamiliar eyes. 624 Theatre’s debut performance, promises to evoke your senses and asks, what does it mean to be on the inside? They’re interacting, they’re transforming space and they’re reclaiming the narrative. With a sustainable immersive set and verbatim speech, 624 Theatre asks, ‘when fate is at your fingertips, what will you decide?

2019 4.48 Psychosis -
Was Sarah Kane’s last play and is seen as a theatrical suicide note. ‘4.48’ is a painfully honest yet poetic view of clinical depression and it deals with mental extremes, depression and the notion of dependency and loneliness. The writing is poetic and fragmented which pairs with the physical and dance elements of the piece. It explores the human condition and the psyche of what it really means to be alive. I was the role of the Doctor a man trying to help these metal ill patients but failed to comprehend how bad there metal heath was leading to their suicide.

2018 Within this House -
First World War Hospital at Temple Newsam House. Across the 3 days step into the past as we transport you back to 1917 for a multi-sensory encounter. You will meet the nurses and some of the soldiers who lived and worked here. Drawing on new research, this immersive performance aims to celebrate the lives and stories of the volunteer nurses who worked at Temple Newsam.

2018 By Toutatis -
Was an adult comedy inspired by the legendary Asterix and Obelix comics. We follow our hero Vercingetorix and his allies as they prepare to repel the Romans invading Gaul in a somewhat inaccurate historical setting with a hilarious and emotional climax.

2018 The Lucky Ones Internship for Riptide -
An immersive adventure that augments your surroundings for a month. The Lucky Ones is a new form of experience for one audience member at a time. Where your city becomes the backdrop and your choices directly influence your story. You become the hero in your own narrative as your decisions blur the boundaries of reality and fiction.

2017 Miscellaneous -
Have you ever lost something? Well, not to worry it will be in the room. Don’t worry, Aggie will help you. Unfortunately, there is no one way into the room nor can we tell you where it is. It can be through the door ahead of you, inside the fruit bowl or down the back of the sofa. Given the role of Jim a rich man who lives in a loveless mirage with his wife, always arguing her.

2017 Three Kings –
The nativity – One of the most recognised stories in the world. But what happened to the Three Kings? Follow the journey of the Three Kings, who venture out to discover the meaning of a great star; only to be sucked into a world of power and corruption. Finding the evil King Herod, their morals become tested. Herod’s continuing delusions of power make this supposedly most peaceful day bloodthirsty, and the smell of vengeance fills the air. This dark and gritty perspective of the nativity will have you forever wondering, what happened to everyone involved on this fateful day?
