With a background of 9 years of classical piano, and 3 years of Guitar, Scott Chester started his career as a DJ/producer at the age of 19
and was described from the age of 20 as "one of the greatest upcoming Djs of the Southwest".(Kitty Von House, producer).
Scott Chester started Djing as a Saturday night resident in the club N.V. in Exeter. He then became Excellence Events Promotion main resident
through which he obtained residency in Mosaic on Tuesday nights and The Lemon Grove on Friday nights as a student DJ.
During those nights, Scott would be playing with some of the biggest Djs from the Southwest including Ian Davies(Gatecrasher - Birmingham; Syndicate - Bristol) and Shaun Silcox (Play - Hereforshire).
Following the success of the nights, Scott Chester became one of the most demanded student Djs from Exeter University, playing for the most popular nights
such as the Summer Ball, Wine Soc Ball and Powderham Ball. He was also given residency for Juiced nights on Monday nights in Timepiece and on Thursday nights in Walkabout in Plymouth.
Following graduation in October 2010, Scott Chester headlined the Freshers’ Party night in Bath, playing the beginning of the night at Vodka Revolutions and the end of the night at the club The Weir Lounge.
At the end of the night the owner of the club invited him to play on the following Saturday night, and two weeks later offered Scott the place of resident DJ and assistant manager of the whole club.
In January 2011 Scott left the Weir Lounge and moved to London in order to pursue his career as a DJ and play in some of the most prestigious clubs of the capital city. He quickly obtained residency
in some of the classiest clubs of London such as Whisky Mist in Mayfair, Kingly Club in Soho and Raffles in Chelsea. Scott Chester was also booked in May 2011 to play for the gala of Science-Pô Paris, France’s most prestigious Politics School.
