Since completing university last year I have been involved as a lead role in a paid soundscape and staged reading at Rhubaba Gallery in Edinburgh, a professional touring pantomime, a TIE English Language tour of France as well as receiving regular paid work in a Scare attraction. in various unpaid projects, and have done work as a supporting artist. During university I was involved in several student theatrical productions, including playing the Princess of France in Love's Labour's Lost and various Beckett roles, as well as short student films. During school, I was a member of Borderline and Fib; two reputable Scottish theatre groups, and consistently gained principal roles in stage productions, including Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Doris in Fame and Meatloaf in We Will Rock You. I've also had experience in the chorus and as an extra. I was actively involved in school shows, where they found my dedication to theatre advantageous.
The skills I believe make me stand out in this competitive profession, range from a confidence in French to an experience of singing, often solo, as a mezzo soprano. I have basic dance and equestrian skills. A good scholar, I achieved nearly straight As in school and a 2.1 in my Theatre Studies and English Literature degree.
