Radio presenter experience
Previous paid Radio presenter roles
* From July 2014 – July 2017: Presenter and editor on the Royal Society’s monthly science podcast. Every month the podcast shared the stories and personalities of scientists, and the incredible Royal Society historic collections. Called R.Science, it was available on iTunes, although it unfortunately is no longer running.
* From February 2016 – July 2018: Amateur comedian. After a debut gig at a Science Showoff in 2016, I have performed approximately 20 stand-up comedy acts (mostly improvised) at various locations in London and also in York. Venues included open mic nights, to Pint of Science organise events.
* July 2016: Presenter at the 2016 TeenTech Awards for Teacher of the Year. (Including this one because it made me laugh.) Starting with an unexpected email from Maggie Philbin, I ended up being the lead judge and presenter of the prestigious Teacher of the Year at the annual TeenTech Awards event.
* From August 2019 – Present: Presenter on a mathematics YouTube channel. Creating and presenting content to cover mathematics theory and study techniques, whilst conveying a human and personal side to mathematics.
