SINGER - Unique powerful voice - perfectly suited for Soul/Motown style and had lots of experience with Sinatra style and American Song-book too - both live and in studio. Very adaptable and flexible, will try anything including opera! BASS PLAYER - I will play any style, also like to compose/find the right bass line for a song and assist with arrangements. SONGWRITER - got about 15 original songs and it would be good to spend more time promoting this but life tends to get in the way - nothing new there. VOICE-OVER - just about to do part 2 of the VOTS course (Voice Over Training Scotland) and hoping to revitalise my talent for voice character acting. SOUND ENGINEER - been doing small festivals and events around Scotland, mostly on the west coast and Islands. Freelance, but often worked on larger scale events with Sono Vie, a fabulous company based in Glasgow. I have my own PA, but I can read a tech spec and get whatever you need.

Voice acting comes top of the list here. Although I have done some extra work in films namely "Highlander" and "Heavenly pursuits". It was in my home studio that I (and my then business partner) produced all the audio for computer games, including original music, original sound effects and inventing many voice characters. These games were based on children's books "The Fish Who Could Wish" "Winnie the Witch" and "Dragon Poems" (publishers Oxford University Press and Dorling kindersley)

I sing, simultaneously play bass guitar and have a wealth of live experience. Once had a small home studio/production company (in Ayrshire) for 15 years and composed about a dozen songs, written and produced albums for singer/songwriters, composed soundtracks for some TV programs and animation films plus voice-overs and audio (music and sound effects) for children's computer games.

I started as sound and lighting tech in theatre and currently working at small festivals as sound engineer.

Recently I've been working as a session player playing bass and singing backing vocals on an album for a Country/Americana artist as well as being lead singer/bass player in my own Soul/Mowtown band
